Based on a Brookline Times poll, which we do not claim do be scientific or predictive, YES on Question 1 — a debt exclusion to fund the building of a new Pierce School, has a substantial lead: The ultimate outcome might well differ from these results for any number of reasons, but the Brookline Times poll would have to have a substantial error for the Pierce debt exclusion not to succeed.
Normally, I don't vote yes on these spending questions, but those who vote No on Question 1 are being penny-wise, pound-foolish!
