Temple Israel Hosts Discussion With IDF Veterans Tonight
Event includes screening of Mission: Hebron
Tonight, at Temple Israel of Boston, a de facto "Brookline temple" due to the large number of members who are Brookline residents, two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Veterans will speak about their own experience in the occupied territories.
There will also be a screening of Mission: Hebron:

The fact that Temple Israel is hosting this event tonight is direct, contradictory evidence to the implicitly antiSemitic narratives about some kind of unified conspiracy among all Jews, Israeli and American, against the Palestinian people, and the use of the word "Zionist" as a perjorative and without a definition.
This film and discussion of it exist because freedom of expression exists in Israel and in the United States, and because there is widespread and open disagreement among the world's Jewish population on an infinite number of topics, including but not limited to Israeli policies regarding Palestinians, the West Bank, and Gaza.
This event is open to the public -- you do not need to be Jewish or a member of Temple Israel to attend.
