Select Board to Hold Listening Session on Selection of Next Town Administrator
Public interviews are tonight; listening session is scheduled for July 26.
Following tonight’s public interviews of the three finalists for the new Town Administrator, Brookline’s Select Board will hold a public listening session on July 26 and will vote on the appointment on August 9, according to an announcement from the Town.
None of the three finalists appear to have substantial experience in municipal finance, despite Brookline’s budget being in excess of $350 million annually and with material potential tax proposals on the horizon, for both an operating override and a debt exclusion for funding of reconstruction of the Pierce School.
